VLOOMING
Immersive 3D Motions
Cinema 4D, Adobe Premiere Pro

Intro
Vlooming is a 3D motion project with Blue Petal and Coral Tree, designed to induce a state of numbness through blooming flowers. The animation follows Dr. Andrew Weil’s 4-7-8 breathing technique: flowers bloom for four seconds, hold for seven, and fade over eight, creating a calming rhythm.
Aimed at stressed city-dwelling young adults aged 20-30, Vlooming simulates natural environments to reduce stress and enhance well-being, similar to aquarium therapy.

Visual Inspiration
Vlooming draws inspiration from the restorative impact of natural surroundings, particularly aquarium therapy.
The two 3D creatures, Blue Petal and Coral Tree, embody tranquillity through marine plant-inspired forms, soothing textures, and curated colour palettes to promote well-being.

Blue Petal reflects the calming qualities of water, while Coral Tree merges coral and floral elements, drawing inspiration from coral structures rather than typical stems. Blue Petal’s colours are based on the 'forget-me-not' flower, symbolising restorative love, while Coral Tree incorporates indigo and green tones aligned with chromotherapy principles.
